Position

Strathmore is currently looking for a qualified individual for our sales department. This is a highly demanding and rewarding position for the right individual. We seek experienced, highly motivated sales people who will be responsible for developing new business for The Strathmore Company. We provide our sales representatives with a base salary, expenses, commissions and quarterly bonuses. The realistic earning potential in the first year is between $75k and $100k.

Duties and responsibilities

We offer a broad range of marketing, printing, advertising sales, ad specialties and web-based solutions. With a powerful understanding of the data that drives content, the Strathmore Company is an expert in data driven marketing.  Among the markets we cover are associations, non-profits, municipalities, publishers, hospitality, and travel corporations.

You must…

  • Be able to set appointments with high level executives

  • Be able to close complex sales

  • Have experience selling printing, marketing, advertising, ad specialties or web based solutions

  • Be able to overcome objections and close the sale

Position Requirements:

  1. Must have at least 2 years outside sales experience in the printing industry, and a thorough understanding of both offset and digital

  2. Must have knowledge and experience of at least one of the following industries: Non-profits, Associations, Municipalities, Travel and Hospitality, or Publishing

  3. Knowledge of data management, loyalty marketing, advertising and promotions a plus
